Chandrayaan -2 launch on 15july 2019, India's second lunar probe to moon

  • What is chandrayaan-2? Why it is special for ISRO?

  • Have we entered the The Asian Space Race? Where do China, Japan and India stand?

• What is the importance of the    moon and moon mission all       over the world?

Moon:-                                               • Moon is Earth's only permanent natural satellite.

Apollo 11  was the spaceflight that landed the first two human on the moon.

• The Soviet union's Luna Program was the first to reach the moon with unnamed spacecraft in 1959.

• Member's Neil A. Armstrong , Michael Collins, Edwin E. "Buzz" Aldrin, Jr.

12 man have walked on the moon

•Apollo 11:- Neil Armstrong  (NASA Civilian)  and buzz Aldrin (USAF)

• Apollo 12:-  pete Conrad from (US navy) and Alan Bean (US Navy)

Apollo 14:-  Alan Shepard (US Navy)

Chandrayaan 1   was launched by the Indian space research organisation in October 2008, and operated until August 2009.

The estimated cost of the entire lunar Project was ₹386 crore.

Among its many achievement it is the greatest achievement was the discovery of the water molecules in the soil.

Is there water on the moon?

Yes , the moon has water,  although nit in liquid form, is is found solid form.

Liquid cannot persist at the moon's surface and water vapour is de composed by sunlight with hydrogen quickly lost our space.

Water is not present in liquid form in moon absence of atmosphere.

Atmosphere is not present because their gravity is 1/6.

           Chandrayaan -2

It is the indias second mission to the moon is a totally great mission comprising of an orbit Lander and rover.

After reaching 100 km under the Lunar orbit  the lander housing the Rover separate from its orbit

Chandrayaan 2 is completely indian made no one other country participate that.

NASA's Apollo  and Russia's Luna mission  where the rover landed in the equatorial region of the moon, ISRO is planning to land the rover near the south pole.

After soft landing the rover will detached from the Lander and move 100-200 metres on the moon's surface

It will remain active for 14 Earth's day and send all data and images to the arbiter within 15 minute.
